Well folks, another week has passed and, in typical VSporto fashion, a ton has happened. Over the past week we’ve solidified the lineups of both Bulldog Sports Radio and Rebel Sports Radio. As director of programming for the network, I’m tasked with making sure that we give you guys exactly what you want: your team, your radio.
I think we’ve made major strides toward doing just that. Just in case there was any doubt, we went ahead and lined up some of the biggest names surrounding each school . . .
On Bulldog Sports Radio, Brandon Marcello’s debut episode of The Primary Objective aired earlier today. Tune in a couple of times a week to hear interviews, headlines and Brandon’s unique perspective on the latest news surrounding Mississippi State athletics. We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Brandon. As the State beat writer for the Clarion Ledger, he’s one of the best sources for Bulldog news anywhere on the web – and he also happens to be purty good on the radio, too. If you missed the show, you can catch it HERE.
Over on Rebel Sports Radio, we added another familiar name with a little less experience, although it doesn’t seem like folks really minded. Former Ole Miss defensive end Kentrell Lockett made his radio debut with the highly anticipated 40-Yard Dash. Rebel fans can tune in twice a week to hear Kentrell give a true player’s perspective of various topics with tons of interviews from recent Rebel greats. In case you didn’t catch it the first time, click HERE to listen to the first episode, where he describes the differences between Houston Nutt’s first two seasons and his final two as head coach.
In addition to Kentrell, we added another name that should be familiar to Rebel die-hards, this time in the form of Red Cup Radio. The folks at RedCupRebellion.com will be joining us once a week to give their honest, in-depth analysis cleverly disguised as humorous quips and thick sarcasm. Tune in to their debut episode HERE and listen to Ole Miss coverage in a way that only that crew can provide.
Whew . . . that’s not too shabby for just seven days. Luckily for the fans, we’re never satisfied and have even more shows set to debut over the next several weeks, so make sure to follow VSporto on Twitter and give us a like on Facebook to keep up with everything going on at the world’s first team-specific internet radio network!
